Kristen & Alan {the wedding}

Kristen and Alan are joyful. They are full of life and happy. I lOVE that!

The morning was filled with laughter and happy tears. The ceremony was filled with music from times past. The Beetles tunes put smiles on every face. The reception was decorated to perfection. The rosemary and herb aroma floated through the air. The band played sweet tunes into the night. It was all so very wonderful. But, my favorite part of the day is tied between Kristens unending laughter and the PERFECT, perfect light that bounced around every corner that day.

Kristen and Alan—- we adored your wedding. Every second of it. Thank you for letting us be a part of it and for dealing with crazy people yelling “special” things at you from windows. Hey, at least now Alan will know how to ride a bike in a ballerina position!

***I have decided to start telling stories from the weddings. Why, because it’s fun! 🙂

So…. story number one, here we go:

We arrived at the Church and it was locked. A priest was driving away and turned around. He asked what we were doing. I told him who we were and he said, “there is no wedding here.” My heart sank. I tried telling him I KNEW there was. He disagreed. I dialed the bride. No answer. I dialed the groom and he answered. It was funny listening to him say, “yes, it’s there. Well, I know we had the rehearsal there.” It was almost like he was second guessing his thoughts 🙂

Long story short… there was a wedding there. Everyone arrived. I am just glad the priest saw us and unlocked the doors or there may have a been one heck of a gorgeous wedding in the street.
