A Christmas Tree Hunt

My family has a Christmas Tree Farm in Northern Wisconsin.  I have so many memories of trees being planted, sheared, cared for, and grown with love.   All of our trees have been harvested and adorned with lights in peoples homes. The remaining acres of evergreen, were left for my grandparents to enjoy from their log home.

That being said, Christmas tree cutting is serious business around here.  The perfect, unsheared, natural tree (x 5 of them! haha…  I KNOW, CRAZY) is hard to find.

This year, my brother, sister in law, nephew, and some of our wonderful friends joined the goal.  We all had GREAT plans of super cute pictures, hot cocoa and the best day ever.  Ummmm…. it was SOOOOO cold.  Like, run to your car, the kids screaming, OVER IT, cold.  Oh well!   We tried.  Until next year.
