Anna is my beautiful cousin.  This year has been one of great highs and lows in her life.  In February, she was in a horrible car accident that shook her, our family, and all her loved ones to their core.   She spent a couple months in the ICU, both here and at Froedtert Hospital, and went through so many surgeries to get to where she is today.  The road is still long, but she pushes through with great perseverance.

Phil was the boy in the chair, in the ICU waiting room.  They were not dating, at that time.  He wept for his friend and camped out, just waiting through all the updates, good and bad.

Through this journey, they fell and love and are now planning their wedding!  Such a beautiful story.
