An intimate wedding in Positano, Italy is about as good as it gets. It’s screams pure romance, sunshine and amore!

Maggie and Marcus had a very easy going, family filled day. We started in their gorgeous room at the Hotel Savoia. It’s exactly what you would dream a room to be like in Positano. They got ready together, which I loved! Then we headed to the ceremony at the town hall. A town hall quite different than what you would find in the states! 🙂

I think everyone there was wondering what would be said in a true Italian ceremony and, in my opinion, it was better than I could have imagined. The words they speak are all about equality and making a life together in support of each other and the home. The entire ceremony was simply gorgeous— both the view and the words spoken.

Maggie and Marcus hosted a dinner that evening at La Tagliata restaurant. We all took a shuttle up the winding, one lane, roads and ended at this little slice of perfection. The view was unbelievable. The gardens would make anyone envious. There were 7 foot herbs growing down the rocks and truly, to much beauty to take in. The food was ENDLESS! At one point Marcus was giggling, in pain, because he knew he had two more courses to go. You would not believe the amount of food involved in traditional italian meals. Then came the music and dancing… it was all a night we will never forget.

After coming back down the mountain we met up with Maggie and Marcus and their amazing family by the beach. SOMEHOW, we all ended up swimming in the sea with ALL of our clothes on until 3:30 in the morning. I think Italy just fills you with joy and, apparently, a little craziness. Yeah, like I said, it’s night we will never forget! 🙂

Maggie and Marcus! Words can not express what a fabulous time Adam and I had. Your wedding will forever be in our hearts. You are two of the kindest people we have ever had the pleasure of getting to know. I hope your extended time in Italy was just as amazing as the day you wed!
