Quiana & Peter THE WEDDING

We had some time before the ceremony that we took photo advantage of. As we walked through the grass, I asked Peter how he was feeling. His response was something to the effect of, “As soon as I GET her, I’ll feel a lot better.” I laughed and asked what “get her” meant. He explained that as soon as her Dad gave him her hand after walking her down the aisle, then he would “get her” and all would be well! I loved it! He was taking it seriously and it could not have been more perfect.
Quiana and Peter had a day that was fit to them. There ceremony was not only about being wed but praising God. These high school sweethearts met because of choir so there was music found everywhere. They even sang a GLEE song to each other… so sweet.
The best part of the day, for me, was the end. When the bride danced with her father. He was very choked up and it truly took all of me to keep it together and not go into the “ugly cry!” 🙂 Oh, geez….
