Madelyn & Aaron {the engagement}

The first time I met Maddie she was 12 going on 21. It was my freshmen year in college at Trinity Christian in Chicago and she had come to visit her sister Julia. Julia was my amazing roommate who is still one of the most important people in my life. Even though her little sister was quite a bit younger, she fit right in. I loved her then.
We have had many memories from that point. Many involve some sort of inappropriateness- all involve laughter. It’s been wonderful to watch her grow into the unbelievably stunning woman she is today AND GETTING MARRIED! Next month! We are so excited.
Maddie has had some major health issues over the past years and the courage she poured out is nothing short of a miracle. To her family, I know seeing her strong, happy and in love is bliss!
Aaron- you have a strong girl! In many, MANY ways. I loved watching her gush about you and how you pursued her. Thanks for being up for it all, even getting in trouble with scary pony-tailed men. Oh, trespassing… it’s just part of the job. 🙂
