What if you simply lived your life?

What if you lived your life, pursued your dreams and followed your path without judging others or the fear of the same?

What would you do? What path would you choose if you knew you would not be judged?

These are the words stated on the WHAT IF conference website.   The conference that is COMPLETELY sold out for 2014.  There is no location picked out, no dates decided on, and no speakers lined up.  Only a group of people who experienced WHAT IF this year and BELIEVE in it.

I attended WHAT IF, on a whim.  My girlfriends Rachel and Laurie were along for this ride.  We had absolutely no idea what was going to happen.  At the very least, we would skip out on the conference and soak in the Punta Cana sun rays.

We were really wrong.  Jen and Steve Bebb believed in a dream of What If.  A conference that started out for artist-preneurs and has now evolved into a life changing experience for anyone, in any walk of life.   They wanted this week to be different than all other conferences in the photography world.  They succeeded.

In my own words, WHAT IF is about being the REAL, true YOU.  It’s about letting down the big walls in your life.  Cherishing your loved ones with every second of the day.  Making memories that matter.  Creating a legacy.  Screaming from mountaintops who YOU are.  Following the ulitmate faith journey.  Breathing.   Breathing in and out.

I am forever changed.  I now love harder, hug tighter, dream bigger (if that is even possible) and experience God more.  It feels a little exhausting to reach this high but it’s baby steps.  One day at a time.

Our last day in the Dominican Republic, we were able to visit a local school and bring in the academic, art and sports supplies they needed.  It was yet another moment of WHAT IF, and my life,  that will forever be etched into my soul.

A wanted to say  THANK YOU.  A true, heart felt, thank you to a few special people!  Jen and Steven Bebb– You AMAZE me.  Keep going, even though you already changed the world.  Natalie & Richie Norton – I have no words for the impact you have had on my life.  You are such an inspiration to all of us.  I love you.  GFDA boys, Jason and Brian – Thank you for teaching us that crazy dreams can come true.  Brian, from Shark Pig – I am starting to notice so many more MIRACLES!  You are the best.  I promise to NOT lose the vampire teeth next year.  Tamara Lackey – It’s so hard to be in your own head, but I’m getting there.  Also, thank you for walking me through your adoption journey.  Jenny and Josh Solar, from THE HAPPY FAMILY – you are constantly reminding me to be just that, a happy family.  Lastly, Jonas Peterson – your life, your work, your ART, makes me want to reach… really HIGH!  I hope my tears did not make you think I was too crazy! lol…
