Your best friends are the people that feel like family.  Lisa and Don are the parents of Julia, my friend, and they feel like parents to me.  Julias entire family feels like my second family and I ADORE them for that.  My girls know them as aunties, uncles and versions of Grandparents.  It’s love and friendship at its’s best!

Lisa and Don’s kids decided to throw them a 25th anniversary party that was a complete surprise.  Through lots of time and sneakiness, they were able to pull off the bash to perfection.  From stealing her dress from her closet, displaying a bridesmaid dress and having a replica of their original cake made, the details were endless.

Lisa has started her second fight with cancer the Monday after this party.  I can ask nothing more than prayers for her strength, courage, determination and love.  She is the mom of all moms and has the truth to fight it all.   The power of prayer is an amazing thing.
