Last week, was a hard week.  We lost a friend of the family and it had me thinking so much about life, what’s important and what’s not.  One of the hardest days ended up on a reminder of those very thoughts.  I had an engagement shoot scheduled and Sarah and Jason were traveling a long way for it.  I have been so excited for this wedding that will take place on Sarahs family property.  They also sell antiques so, obviously, beyond the wedding, the engagement session was going to be amazing also.

Sarah and Jason were so sweet to each other and so happy.  Their smiles and laughter warmed my heart. It was the perfect ending to a not so wonderful day.  They reminded me how much I LOVE what I do and how much I adore capturing love stories on film.  A testimony of love for their generations.

To the bride and groom:  Thank you for smiling and being too sweet.  You made my day, week and simply, brought me back to this gorgeous reality of life.

LAST THOUGHT: a lighter note!!!  I was so in love with the quilt from the photos.  Beyond in love!  Lucky me, it was from her families antique store and now adorns my couch.
